Odds are you have come across a Little Free Library in your travels. They truly are amazing things. I first found out about them, when I wanted to know why a business near me put up what looked like a really odd bird house in the parking lot. Turns out it wasn't a bird house at all, but a hidden gem full of books!

There is a Hudson Valley Town that is looking to add a 4th one of these Little Libraries and to do that they are asking if you can help get this one started by donating children's books. BTW, children's books seem to be the #1 thing that is 'borrowed' from Little Free Libraries, how can you help?
