Odds are you have come across a Little Free Library in your travels. They truly are amazing things. I first found out about them, when I wanted to know why a business near me put up what looked like a really odd bird house in the parking lot. Turns out it wasn't a bird house at all, but a hidden gem full of books!

There is a Hudson Valley Town that is looking to add a 4th one of these Little Libraries and to do that they are asking if you can help get this one started by donating children's books. BTW, children's books seem to be the #1 thing that is 'borrowed' from Little Free Libraries, how can you help?

The Town of Poughkeepsie is looking to add a 4th Little Free Library, what are they asking for your help with?

The Town of Poughkeepsie is asking for donations of used children's books. Little Free Libraries work on the concept of bring a book, take a book, but that is not required.. The beauty of these "libraries" are that you don't need a card, there is never a late fee, and if you fall in love with the book, you never have to bring it back. 50 Things You Can Do With a Library Card.
