The Hudson Valley region has now become a well known location for celebrities to visit. With local casting calls, some of Hollywood's stars have spent time here. I had the pleasure of meeting Butch Patrick in the Hudson Valley who played Eddie Munster from 'The Munsters'.

I also had the opportunity to meet Kelsey Grammer in our area as well. He is the nicest celebrity and most down to earth person that I've talked to.

Even though some celebrities just stop in the Hudson Valley, others have been born here or have made it their home.

What Celebrities Live Within The Hudson Valley Area?

When I was watching Celebrity Jeopardy!, I tuned in when Max Greenfield was on. He was playing for charity, a dog rescue. In this episode, it was mentioned that he is from Westchester, NY.

Upon visiting the Rhinebeck, NY area, I checked out Samuel's Sweet Shop. This locally owned candy store is owned by Paul Rudd and Hilarie Burton. Not only do they have delicious chocolate but there's a chance of possibly seeing these Hollywood stars at their business in the Hudson Valley. I would also assume that they live in our area as well.

Another beloved celebrity who's from Queens, NY had made several references about the Hudson Valley area, hinting that he has a home here.

Al Roker is known for being one of New York's favorite meteorologists.

We may also know Roker as the co-host on The Today's Show in New York City. His journalist and TV personality presence has also made him the jack of all trades in the entertainment industry.

NBC New York shared that Roker is from Queens, NY and attended school there. On his 70th birthday, Roker received the key to New York City, does this now make him the king of New York? I think so!

In additional videos on Al Roker's social media platforms, he's rocking SUNY Oswego shirts where he attended. Being a SUNY Oswego alumni, Roker has made several, generous donations to his favorite college.

Yahoo Entertainment shared that Roker and his wife Deborah have a,

"primary residence in New York's Hudson River Valley."

Along with their Hudson Valley home, they also have a residence in the Upper East Side in New York City.

Be on the lookout for Roker when you're in the Big Apple and also in the Hudson Valley. It's obvious that he has a love for New York state and isn't ashamed to show it!
