The Hudson Valley is the home to many celebrities. Some of Hollywood's biggest stars have made the move to the area.

Actress, Amanda Seyfried has made the Catskills her home. Celebrities and owners of Samuel Sweet Shop, Paul Rudd and Hilary Burton also reside in the Hudson Valley region.

While these celebrities weren't born in the area, they live here now. There are also Hudson Valley natives that are Hollywood stars.

Why Are TV Users Making Comments About Max Greenfield's On Celebrity Jeopardy!?

On Jeopardy! Facebook, they included that Max Greenfield, W. Kamau Bell and Camilla Luddington were contestants on Celebrity Jeopardy and were playing for charity.

Greenfield was playing for Wags and Walks which is a nonprofit organization and dog rescue with locations in California and Tennessee.

I was watching this episode of Celebrity Jeopardy! for a few minutes and thought it was fun to play along. After this episode was over, TV users shared their comments on social media about how the contestants did on the show.

MSN.com shared Greenfield incorrectly guessed a question that they were asked. The question included a hint about an Usher song that was released in 2004 and was at the top of charts for 12 weeks.

Greenfield thought that the song was Caught Up when the correct answer was Yeah! This song also included Ludacris and Lil Jon, I remember when it came out!

Why Should We Cut This Hudson Valley Celebrity Some Slack After Recent TV Appearance?

Personally, I think that we should cut the contestants on Celebrity Jeopardy! some slack. Although they are celebrities who probably have a good amount of money in the bank, they did take the time to play for charity.

Even though these celebrities didn't correctly guess an Usher's song, they raised money for organizations and seemed as if they had fun doing it.

I would imagine that it could be overwhelming to be on any Jeopardy episode and it would require great concentration to come up with correct answers in a timely manner.

Congratulations to these Hollywood stars, I look forward to seeing more of these episodes. Which Jeopardy! episodes are your favorite? Did any of them include celebrities? Tell us more below.

Have You Been To FDR's Cousin's House in Rhinebeck, NY?

Some may only know about FDR and Eleanor Roosevelt but there were other family members who played a role in the Hudson Valley.

Thomas Suckley and his wife Catherine Murray Bowne created history in Dutchess County, NY. Their estate called "Wilderstein" was designed in the 1800's.

According to Wilderstein.org, the meaning behind the name of their estate means "wild man's stone". This was in reference to "an Indian petroglyph on the property, a reminder of the cultural heritage that preceded European settlement of the region."

By the late 1800's, the son of Thomas and Catherine (Robert Bowne Suckley) along with his wife, Elizabeth Philips Montgomery decided to add onto the estate.

This "Queen Anne style mansion" is also known for its beautiful views, lush landscape and large property. There were three generations of the Suckley family members that lived at Wilderstein.

Who was related to FDR?

Margaret Suckley was not only just a cousin of FDR but they spent quality time together. She traveled with FDR during his presidency and gifted him his black Scottish terrier dog, Fala.
Margaret also helped FDR form his library located in Hyde Park, NY.

Some would also say that she was a "confidante" to him as well. Margaret was with FDR when he passed away in Georgia. She died at the Wilderstein estate in 1991 at 100 years old.

Margaret was the last resident to live at Wilderstein.

Wilderstein is also known as "the Hudson Valley's most important example of Victorian architecture."
