Beloved Singer Visits New Hudson Valley Business

I always get excited when I find out about celebrities in the Hudson Valley. More than ever, they have been in the area for TV shows and movies. Some of Hollywood’s biggest stars have also made the move to the Hudson Valley area.

Of course celebrities would want to live in the Hudson Valley! We have the best of both worlds including nature trails, popular music scenes and events in each county. With its close proximity to New York City, we could hop in the car and be there in no time. Amanda Seyfried has shared that she chose upstate New York life.

Along with Seyfried, Al Roker has shared pictures of his beautiful Hudson Valley backyard on social media. Paul Rudd is not only known for being one of the ‘sexiest’ men in the world, he's also a Hudson Valley business owner. He’s the co-owner of Samuel’s Sweet Shop in Rhinebeck, NY. I would also assume that Rudd has a place in the Hudson Valley as well.

Robert De Niro also lives in the Hudson Valley. There's been pictures of him on social media supporting local coffee shops.

Which Beloved Singer Visited A New Hudson Valley Business?

Kate Pierson is known for being the lead singer of the B-52s. I love their song “Roam”. She also owned a motel in the Catskills area and later sold it. While we know that she has ties in the area, we didn’t expect her to show up at a new Hudson Valley business and show her support ( I love this ).

Woodstock, NY’s first cannabis dispensary has now opened. HERbal Woodstock is located on the popular Tinker Street in Woodstock. I love visiting this area and walking along the locally owned shops and being in this area. When I visited, there was a random drum circle where everyone was dancing and having fun.

HERbal Woodstock has their soft opening in March 2025 and later, their grand opening in April 2025. They sell a variety of options including edibles, topical options, flowers, CBD and more.

While we may be excited to visit this new business, a celebrity has already stopped by and shown their love. On Instagram, HERbal Woodstock included a post that Kate Pierson visited their new business. They included,

“When you own a business in Woodstock, you have to play it cool when famous artists stop by. We were thrilled and honored to have one of our most treasured and talented community members attend our Preview event. Yes, she gets her own post!”
