"commemorates the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Woodstock festival and celebrates its impact on our Sullivan Catskills."

They also shared that this trail is a collection of 50 sculptures of beautiful doves which is located throughout Sullivan County, NY in different towns, villages and businesses as well.

These doves are hand painted by professional and local artists from the area, each one is truly inspired by the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival.

Where Can Visitors Find A Map Of The Sullivan Catskills Dove Trail?


On the Sullivan Catskills website, there are several options for visitors.

There's a virtual dove tour available which gives the exact address of each dove sculpture. There's also a complete guide to the Sullivan Catskills Dove Trail including the number, picture, name and location of each dove.

There's also a Dove Trail Passport Program & Contest where guests can play along with. Be sure to visit all 50 Doves, take a picture of yourself with each sculpture and send it to Sullivan Catskills.

This would mean that your selfie is a "passport stamp" of your exploration in Sullivan County, NY. Once all of 50 images are submitted, be sure to send an email to them. As long as the submissions are confirmed, guests would receive a special Dove souvenir, this is awesome!

Sullivan Catskills made a post on social media about their newest addition to the area.

Another dove sculpture was added to the Sullivan Catskills area along The Dove Trail.

Kim Simons is a local artist who created a beautiful, bright and fun Dove. This new dove is located at Prestige Towing & Recovery in Liberty. Simon's newest addition would be Dove #73 in Sullivan County, NY along The Dove Trail.

Sullivan County, NY explained,

"The Dove Trail celebrates the region's cultural history and art community."
