The first day of Spring is March 19, 2024. As of 11:06 pm on this date, the spring equinox of 2024 officially began.

Spring and summer are my favorite seasons to experience in New York state. I love hearing the beautiful birds chirping, the spring peepers chorus, and seeing the return of butterflies, squirrels and other furry friends as well.

With the start of spring, the grass becomes greener and the days become brighter, sunnier and warmer within the Hudson Valley. It feels as if the world is waking up from a long winter nap, ready to welcome a new season of beginnings and adventure to come.
