With so many restrictions regarding gathering in large numbers will more stores in New York embrace this policy?

With the COVID-19 outbreak hitting New York in larger numbers over the past two weeks there has several restrictions set in place on how we gather in groups. Originally, we were told that we couldn't gather in groups larger than 500. That number was reduced to no more than 10 in a matter of days with a distance of at least 6 ft a part.

Why is it that these rules don't apply at grocery stores?

According to the New York Post, A Whole Foods store in NYC is enforcinfg a 50 shopper maximum in the a facility.

Will stores be forced to adhere to social distancing guidelines? Will we see this in the Hudson Valley soon enough?
