A car accident quickly turned into a fully engulfed fire after a car struck a tree in Southeast, New York.

Much of the State is at high risk of fire with at least 4 wildland fires were reported across New York this week.

There's a burn ban in effect across the Hudson Valley and New York State until May 14th.

Hudson Valley residents will have to hold off on any major controlled burns and fires as a statewide burn ban will soon go into effect.
