Brewster, NY is about an hour North of New York City, it's a safe, pretty place to live and everyone who lives there has seen, all the town has to offer about 100 times over, unless you look a little closer.
Look Inside Rarely Seen Corners of Brewster
There is an area in Brewster, NY where US 202, Lower Mine Road, the Croton River, the train tracks and a reservoir all converge. This is a look inside the rarely seen corners of Brewster AKA the Town of Southeast.
These are inherently dangerous places for a variety of reasons, I do not encourage anyone to go seek them out. I've shown you all there is to see, until next time when I reveal the Satan Caves of Brewster.
P.S. This was a tiny of portion of what I could have published from Brewster, NY which means many many sequels to this article.
Rarely Seen Corners of Danbury
If you've lived here your whole life you probably know most of these places but I am willing to bet even the most grizzled Danbury vet will see something, they have never seen before. Some are wonderful, some historic and others are just places where trash gets thrown, these are some of the Rarely Seen Corners of Danbury.
Vacant Putnam Lake Properties
Putnam Lake is a Hamlet of the Town of Patterson In Putnam County, NY. Originally, the community was a vacation getaway for city folks who wanted Lake property in the country. Today, it’s not any kind of weekend or destination getaway but a great place to live, I would know, I grew up there. Like any small town, Putnam Lake, NY has its setbacks. It’s difficult to open any business and even harder to keep the doors open. These are some of the long vacant commercial properties of “The Lake.”
7 of Danbury's Most Interesting Signs
There is a song by Tesla and the lyrics go something like this:
"Signs Signs, everywhere there's signs blocking out the scenery breaking my mind, do this, don't do that can't you read the sign?" I think the song was actually written by a man named Les Emmerson but that is for another day. Signs can block out the scenery, disturb or even make people laugh. Danbury, CT has it's fair share of signs, these are just a bit more interesting than your average public message.
