With spring starting in the Hudson Valley, alot of exciting events have returned and some of them are happening for the first time.

The warm weather brings out the community to join in for local experiences and connect with others. Special events, gatherings and festivals occur all throughout the Hudson Valley for us to enjoy.

There is never any time to be bored in the Hudson Valley, there is always something going on for all age groups. Our community is constantly growing which brings in more activities throughout each county.

A unique festival will take place here in the Hudson Valley that will include sword fighting, pirate ships and dancing.

The Hudson Valley Pirate Festival Will Happen In Ulster County, NY

This is your chance to step back in time to experience the pirate lifestyle. Ulster County Tourism provided information about this event that includes a family friendly setting that welcomes everyone to dress in pirate style.

At this unique event, there will be singing, dancing, vendors, beverages and food as well. Those attending the festival may pass by some mermaids out of water or find treasure along the way.

Where Will The Pirate Festival Take Place Within New Paltz, NY?

Show up wearing your best pirate outfit and get ready to sword fight in New Paltz, NY. This event will take place at the Ulster County Fairgrounds.

On social media, those attending were excited to see familiar faces and vendors. The Hudson Valley Pirate Festival's Facebook page also shared a hint at a few of their many vendors. Woods Magic will be there along with Freddie's Rockin Lemonade, Big Daddys and more.

This Pirate Festival Will Happen In May 2023

This festival will take place on May 13, 2023 and May 14, 2023 from 11am-6pm. If you're interested in learning more about this festival, additional information is provided.

The price will be $15 for adults, $10 for children that are 14 years old and up. Free tickets would be for children who are 4 and younger. The tickets will also be sold at the gate.
