Mother Nature has been playing by her own rules this summer. Hurricane Opheila came through the Hudson Valley which gave local events and businesses no other decision than to cancel.

While the majority of the Hudson Valley only experienced rain and some wind, a lot of people felt as if they missed out on fun activities that were supposed to take place.

On a positive note, there is plenty of time and experiences to take in over the next couple of months in the Hudson Valley.

Soon enough, we'll be soaking up the fall foliage, picking apples and pumpkins, preparing for the spooky season and decorating for the holidays.

There is plenty to look forward to right in our area.
