Hudson Valley businesses update residents on their hours, new food options, closings and more on their social media platforms.

Recently, an Ulster County, NY cafe made a post on social media reminding their loyal customers of their winter break schedule. They made a post on their social media platforms of when they were closing during the holidays and when they would reopen their establishment.

Facebook users and Hudson Valley residents commented that this would be a "well deserved break" while others were stating for them to enjoy the holiday season.

Cafe Mio Of Ulster County, NY Reopened Their Doors After Break


Cafe Mio is Gardiner, NY's cafe that serves,

"fresh ingredients and good times since 2009."

They shared that 

"Whether you’re feelin’ a fancy brunch, a burger and fries, or a latte to go, we’ve got you covered. "

Cafe Mio takes pride in having a setup that has an open kitchen which can then highlight what they have to offer such as their experienced staff members who also have fun doing their job.

On January 24, 2024, Cafe Mio reopened their doors for service. With an updated social media post, they were able to remind their customers of the great news.

Facebook users and Hudson Valley residents shared their excitement about the news.

They stated,

"YAY!!! My kitchen will officially close for weekend breakfast!!"

 

"Best news all day! 😂"

What Can Guests Enjoy At Cafe Mio In Gardiner, NY?


According to their Facebook page, Cafe Mio is known for being a brunch and breakfast restaurant.

Their menu options have something for everyone, ranging from casual selection and upscale ones as well. Not only does Cafe Mio have breakfast and lunch options but drink specials as well.

Cafe Mio's hours are from Wednesday to Sunday from 9am until 4pm. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Personally, I would order their Tiramisu French Toast which has cocoa powder and espresso mascarpone cheese in it with a lavender latte, mmm!

Brother Bruno's was located on 17B in Monticello/Bethel, NY. Known for its Italian cuisine, this local business had a large menu with something for everyone to choose from. Their drink menu, holiday meal specials and signature pizza brought in foodies throughout New York state and more.

Hudson Valley residents were shocked to see a post on social media from Brother Bruno's, announcing that they closed their doors after many years.

Brother Bruno's has been permanently closed since September 2023.

The Community Was Sad To See This Family Favorite Restaurant Officially Close

Not only did Brother Bruno's officially close in Monticello/ Bethel NY, but it is now for sale. Information has been provided by Keller Williams Hudson Valley and Coldwell Banker Realty. 

Brother Bruno's located on Route 17 B in the Town of Bethel, NY is for sale. This is in the Mongaup Valley area within Sullivan County, NY. They shared, 

"High traffic location with 13,800+ cars per day, on average. 4 miles from Route 17 / Future I-86 and minutes from Bethel Woods Center for Performing Arts. 2 dining rooms to allow for ample seating and private parties or events."

"This location also boasts a full service 15+ seating bar area, outdoor seating / patio area overlooking the Mongaup River providing iconic water views. "

Outside, there is a storage building which is located behind the main building.

How Much Would It Cost To Purchase This Restaurant In Sullivan County, NY?

Keller Williams Hudson Valley and Coldwell Banker Realty shared additional information about this location.

To purchase the former Brother Bruno's in Monticello/ Bethel, NY it would cost $749,900. The taxes are $15,767 and the business type is listed as retail.

However, updates were made to the entranceway and bathrooms in 2018. The wood fired pizza oven and dining rooms were also updated in 2010.
