One Of Orange County’s Beloved Annual Festivals Returns With A New Date

All throughout the year, we can attend fun events in the Hudson Valley including include events, fairs, festivals and more. I always look forward to the summer months that allow us to be outdoors each day, soaking up the sun and enjoying festivities!

One Of Orange County's Beloved Annual Festivals Returns With A New Date

Each year, this event takes place within Port Jervis. It brings the community together and locals enjoy the Fall Foliage Festival with all that it offers!

On social media, the Fall Foliage Port Jervis NY Festival informed us on their upcoming event. Their annual festival was going to take place on Sunday, September 27, 2026 from 10am until 5pm in the downtown area of Port Jervis.

Due to the weather, they made the wise decision to postpone this fan favorite festival to another date! 

What Can We Experience At The Fall Foliage Festival In Port Jervis, NY?

Thankfully, the Fall Foliage Festival Port Jervis NY social media account mentioned that the new date for this event will be on October 18, 2026. There's also a time change and we can attend this festival from 12pm until 6pm. The Fall Foliage Festival will still take place in the downtown area of Port Jervis!

The Fall Foliage Festival Port Jervis NY mentioned that they have 200 vendors that will be onsite for this upcoming event. One of the best parts about this festival is that the admission and parking is free, woohoo!

We can look forward to shopping from local vendors including Simply Sleigh and getting something to sip on from The Tiki Hut (which I've had before!). We can stock up on pickles from Jersey's Pickles and our favorite popcorn from Boo's Kettle Corn! They mentioned that this event will be on Sussex Street, Hammond Street, Front Street, Jersey Avenue and more!

What Else Can We Do In The Port Jervis, NY Area?

While in the Port Jervis area, we can see what there is to experience.I always recommend driving on the famous Hawks Nest! This truly has some of the best views in the area. We can also see the Delaware River from this road and all of the natural beauty.

Nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts can also head to Elks-Brox Memorial Park to see Peter Point. From this location, we can take in the overlook that has views of three states all at once.

Ben's Fresh is a staple within the Port Jervis community and keeps the locals happy with their delicious menu options. The Reserve is a cocktail bar also located nearby that has great reviews! Have fun exploring the Port Jervis area :)
