This month begins the official start of the concert season at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. For so many, this is a happy place for nature enthusiasts, music lovers and visitors. History buffs can enjoy the energy and stories that still lives on from the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival.

Bethel Woods is one of my favorite music venues in New York State! I love warm summer nights at this Sullivan County hot spot filled with live music, beautiful views and good vibes. It’s great how all ages can come together to co exist at Bethel Woods.

They also have events, workshops and more throughout the year in addition to their popular concerts.

We Can Visit The Best Amphitheater In The Country Within Sullivan County

It’s true, when we visit Bethel Woods, it will be our opportunity to experience the best amphitheater in the country! In 2025, Bethel Woods made the announcement that they were,

“Named Best Amphitheater in the country by the @usatoday 10Best Readers' Choice Awards!”

Social media users shared that this was well deserved for Bethel Woods and how it’s a happy place for so many people. We can say that we have the best amphitheater in the country in our area and I love that for us!

Fan Favorite Bethel Woods Experience Returns For 2026 Concert Season

Thankfully, Bethel Woods has also brought back this fan favorite experience for us again this year. I had the opportunity to go glamping on site and it was incredible. For years, I said that I would love the chance to spend the night on the historic grounds of the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival and I did! This is something that you can check out this season as well.

On Bethel Woods website, they shared the,

“2026 Camping Reservations Are Open”

You can click on the Book Now button to find out more. They offer Pavilion Camping, Historic Camping and more! It was fun to walk into the concert from the camping section and go back there after the show. Waking up at Bethel Woods after a summer concert was one of the highlights of the season and I’m excited to do it again!
