Beacon has recently undergone a huge transformation, but it once looked very different.

Everyone knows Beacon has had a pretty tough reputation for a while. It's unfortunate it was known for being a tough area, but it seems like things have been really changing there. I have a few friends that now live in Beacon and they have mentioned how prices keep going up for houses and rent because it's become popular, there are a ton of cool restaurants there and the night life is great. Any place can really change and it looks like Beacon has really made a change for the better

What did Main Street in Beacon used to look like and what does it look like now?

Well...a little rough. The buildings look pretty run down and they look like they could use a good scrub.

How about now?

It looks like more life was brought back into the buildings, they are cleaner and someone took my advice about the good scrubbing. It overall just looks like a happier and more appealing place for people to check out.

Oh this just looks and feels very sad. It looks like the windows on the building towards the left are all boarded up and everything else looks pretty dull.

How about now?

Soooo much better. The building on the left looks great, there is a beautiful mural which adds some much needed color and it looks like a great place to spend an afternoon at.
