Ok, so you are not happy with the seemingly strict New York State law that says your car windows cannot be tinted as dark as you would like them? Are you a vampire? Is there a legit reason that you need to have your windows that dark? Maybe there is.
Let's dig into is a little bit more, the New York law that went into effect on January 1, 2017, basically said that for passenger cars the windshield and side windows cannot block more than 30% of the light. This law also applies to the rear window of a vehicle if it has been classified as a 'passenger car' unless you have a side mirror on each side of your car.
