Many are dreaming of a white Christmas and now there is a tool that will determine whether or not you will get one according to your zip code. Seems like a very rudimentary way, but the Farmer's Almanac says they can tell. Here's how. The Farmer's Almanac has been around for hundreds of years and now there's a way they can tell if your zip code will be getting the white stuff on Christmas this year. According to News 10 ABC, the Farmer's Almanac has created a tool to put in your zip code for a local weather forecast for Christmas Day.

We all know that the Farmer's Almanac predicts long-range snowstorms and weather patterns and is predicting that there will be snow on Christmas and leading up for most of the United States. The Almanac is also predicting that the Northeast will be seeing more than normal wet days throughout the month of December. You can check that out on the Climate Prediction Center of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

According to the headquarters of the National Weather Service in Billings, Montana, a white Christmas is considered to be over an inch of snow at 5 am on Christmas Day. To see if your zip code is slated to have a white Christmas, click HERE according to the Farmer's Almanac.
