What’s Mercury in Retrograde & Why Should We Know About It?
Ok, at the risk of sounding like a freak, I think that I need to give you a heads up about this. Mercury is about to go into retrograde and this time around it's looking to be a doozy.
If you think that I have just spouted off some weird foreign language, bear with me one moment. You don't have to understand the astro-physics of it, just be aware of it, especially since you might start to fell the effects of it, a week to ten days before it 'officially' happens.
Here are the official dates, June 18 to July 12, 2020. Why you need to know about it? Because the weirdest things happen. Someone once told me that it is about the 're's' while Mercury is in retrograde.
Re-Do, Re-Connect, Re-Place, Re-lax etc. You will find yourself having to re-do projects that for some reason didn't get saved? You will find yourself having to re-place things that you have misplaced and cannot find.
The Farmer's Almanac also has a warning about this "thing" that happens three times each year. Here's what they have to say about it:
The planet Mercury rules communication, travel, contracts, automobiles, and such.
So, when Mercury is retrograde, remain flexible, allow extra time for travel, and avoid signing contracts. Double check your email responses, check in with reservations before you take that trip.
Review projects and plans at these times, but wait until Mercury is direct again to make any final decisions. You can’t stop your life, but plan ahead, have back-up plans, and be prepared for angrier people and miscommunication.
To help your get through this challenging few weeks, take a deep breath and realize that things are not exactly going to work in your favor. This is where the Re-lax comes in. There will be delays, complications and issues, on everything.
Begin by making sure you always know where your keys, wallet, glasses and cell phone are as these are the items that have a tendency to unexplainedly go missing during this time. Also make sure to back up your computer files and to back up your cell phone, this will make it easier to get the info and pictures you need easier that way.
Lastly, remember to that it, just like the Covid isolation, will end.
