Spring has officially sprung here in the Hudson Valley, woohoo! We’ve been waiting for this for a few months and it truly feels great.

Residents Excited As Ulster County Ice Cream Stand Reopens For The Season

Some ice cream stands have made announcements on social media of when they will reopen. Mary Jane’s Dairy Bar in Newburgh mentioned that they will reopen for the spring season on March 27th! Orange County residents shared their excitement about this announcement in the comments section on their post.

In Ulster County, a fan favorite ice cream stand made their announcement of the reopening date. We can now visit this local business to satisfy our sweet tooth!

Sawyer Ice Cream Company In Ulster County, NY Reopens

Woohoo! We can now visit Sawyer Ice Cream Company at 190 NY-32 in Saugerties, NY. They made the announcement on social media that they would open in March 14, 2026. Sawyer Ice Cream Company also provided their hours.We can visit them daily from 11am until 9pm.

Mmmm, their ice cream options this season include over 30 flavors!

What Do Hudson Valley Residents Love About Sawyer Ice Cream Company?

On their Facebook, I was looking at their reviews and had to share! Some users included that they were happy to get a free bowl of vanilla soft serve for their pup that also had a dog biscuit as well.

Others also shared that they had their trash can, banana oreo, cookie monster ice cream flavors.

I have always enjoyed stopping by my favorite local ice cream shops and choosing a new flavor. Whether it's a hot fudge sundae, chocolate peanut butter ice cream in a cone, or an ice cream sandwich, count me in.

The Hudson Valley has strange ice cream flavors. From lemon poppyseed to thai iced tea and barn boots, there aren't any boring flavors in our area.

A 'Premiere' Hudson Valley treat shop was expanding their space during the winter months to prepare for a busy summer season.
