Tis the season to bring a dessert with you to your work gathering, friends house or family party. Dessert is one of my favorite meals of the day.

New York state is the home to delicious cakes, Italian cookies, pies and more. Hudson Valley residents were asked to share their go-to businesses to get the best cake and desserts in the area.

On social media, WRRV asked Hudson Valley residents who had the best cake in the area. WPDH also asked locals about which business has the best dessert in the Hudson Valley.

I enjoyed reading through the comments on WRRV and WPDH's Facebook pages about these questions. Personally, there were a few favorite Hudson Valley businesses that I also love getting dessert from on this list.

Deisings Bakery is one of my favorite bakeries in the Hudson Valley. Their breakfast food such as croissants and muffins are delicious. I also enjoy their cookies and chocolate cake for dessert.

Adam's Bakery is also one of my favorite bakeries in the Hudson Valley. The first time that I ever had a black and white cookie cake was from Adam's Bakery. I also enjoy their dinner options along with their dessert choices too. I also visited Cohen's Bakery in Ellenville, NY. I learned about their history and enjoyed their homemaded goodies.
