Not sure if you are aware of this (since you probably haven't been on the roads to see the signs) but the bridge tolls are going up again. Currently it is $1.50 to cross one of the 5 bridges in the New York State Bridge Authority (NYSBA) and $1.25 if you use the E-ZPass. As of May 1, 2020 the toll will increase to $1.75 if you pay cash and $1.35 if you have the E-Z Pass.

There are also different prices if you sign up for the "Bridge Plans" that are available through the E-ZPassNY.com website. If you have any questions about how EZ-Pass works, check out their website.

If you are a person that refuses to use E-Z Pass, would you be willing to share with us as to why you don't want to get it? I am just curious as to why someone would not want it. I am not going to try to change your mind and convince you to get it. I promise you, as a person that really enjoys the convenience of it, and has one of those special plans where I get a reduced rate depending on how many times I cross the bridges, what is your reason for NOT having E-ZPass, Let me know, brandi@943LiteFM.com.
