A very popular country singer featured the beautiful location on an amazing special. It's now becoming a common thing, but there's still is a ton of excitement when you hear a huge star is in the Hudson Valley. I am a huge country music fan and one of the best things about country artists is their big heart and how they give back to local communities. Michael Ray is a very well-known country star and he's had big hits like 'Think a Little Less', 'Kiss You in the Morning', 'Whiskey and Rain' and more, but he was recently in the Hudson Valley getting a different kind of attention for some incredible work.

What was Michael Ray doing at West Point?

I'd be smiling like that too if I was that close to Michael Ray, but in all seriousness Ray was at West Point to help celebrate the final week of basic training there. How awesome is that?  Oh just wait....it gets even better.

Michael Ray always speaks out about how much he respects men and women in uniform and he was able to show this appreciation in a big way.  He was part of a special called 'Inside The Base' and he took people along for his journey inside West Point and showed how amazing it is there. can you see it? The special did air on Saturday, October 1st on Circle TV at 10:30/9:30c. WOW...
