Just a few weeks after we share with you the news of their re-opening, we find ourselves passing on the info that the Forsyth Nature Center in Kingston has made the decision to cancel its annual fall festival.

While the Nature Center does remain open to visitors, they decision has been made to cancel their annual Fall Festival that many Hudson Valley residents looked forward to attending each year. The Center announced the date of the 2021 festival if you would like to start planning to fill out your post-Covid activities the festival will be held on October 2, 2021.

According to a press release, here are the details as to why the cancellation was made:

“The safety and well-being is now and will always be our highest priority at the Nature Center,” said Donna Seymour, Chair of the Friends of the Forsyth Nature Center Board. “I want to thank everyone for their support and understanding. We expect to back better than ever at next year’s festival.”

The Forsyth Nature Center is open and welcoming visitors from 9AM to 5PM daily. All who enter the center must be wearing a face mask or face covering and continue to wear it during their time at the center.
