A unique dining experience has landed in the heart of the Catskills for a limited time only.

World's Only Cheez-In Diner Pops Up in Woodstock, New York

On May 17th, 2024, rumors start to swirl about a new diner possibly opening up in Woodstock, New York. It was taking over the vacant building that used to house Dixons Roadside which closed in 2023. The sign on the building read "Cheez-In Diner" and resembled the Cheez-It logo.

Social media was buzzing with rumors of a commercial being filmed or a Cheez-It pop-up coming to town.

Shortly after, on May 20th, 2024, Cheez-It confirmed that the world's only Cheez-In Diner was open for business. From May 20th, 2024 until May 26th, 2024, guests could enjoy an array of Cheez-It-themed foods like Cheez-It crusted chicken tenders, Cheez-It grilled cheese, and Cheez-It biscuits.

Oh yeah, and desserts like a Cheez-It milkshake and Cheez-It cheesecake.

Why Did Cheez-It Choose The Catskills?

It seems pretty random for a Cheez-In Diner to pop up in the middle of Woodstock, New York, right? Wrong. Apparently, the folks had their sights on the Catskills for a while and for a specific reason.

We spoke with representatives from Cheez-It who told us:

Building on the success of what we created in California last year (the Cheez-It Stop desert pitstop and snacking outpost), we wanted to bring the same road trip destination fun to the East Coast!

 

 

They add:

Knowing the Catskills iconic mountain scape is a popular summer travel spot, opening up shop in Woodstock allows us to meet fans where they are already traveling, but also, to serve as an exciting new adventure for those coming up just to visit the Cheez-In.
