Family Concert Series Returns to Bethel Woods

Bethel Woods, as we all know, is the original site of the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival which brought some of the best artists of all time to the Hudson Valley.

Performers included Jimi Hendrix, Sly and the Family Stone, the Who, the Grateful Dead and many more.

If you're looking to introduce your children to some of the best music ever created, Bethel Woods is bringing back Rock and Roll Playhouse series. Kids will be introduced to music by Bob Marley, Queen, the Grateful Dead and newer artist like Taylor Swift.

The program runs once a month from June through September and as Bethel Woods explains tickets are Pay-as-You-Can. The write:

Hudson Valley Museum Named Best Music Museum in the US

Not only can you enjoy live music from some of the biggest touring acts at Bethel Woods, but you can also immerse yourself in the history of the iconic venue.

In February of 2024, The Museum at Bethel Woods was named one of the 10 Best Music Museums in the US by USA Today voters. It came in at number 3 behind The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Ohio and The Johnny Cash Museum in Nashville.

The Museum at Bethel Woods is dedicated to preserving the stories of Woodstock, the most famous three-day music festival in history. Visit the original site of Woodstock and be transported back in time via their main exhibit that takes visitors through the 1960s with pictures, music, and films.

The Bethel Woods Museum is heading across the country this summer to collect stories from original Woodstock Festival Goers to add to the history they've already on display.

Bethel Woods Summer Concert Season 2024

It looks like the summer of 2024 will be a good one at Bethel Woods. Besides the Family Concert Series, they have many big artists from every genre who will be stopping at Bethel.

Luke Bryan and Hank Williams Jr will be stopping through for the country fans. Hootie & The Blowfish will bring the 90s vibes and then big names like James Taylor, Pat Benetar, Phish, Alanis Morriset, and more will be stopping by as well.

Bethel Woods Last Concert Of The Season Ended With Rod Stewart.

Rod Stewart took the stage at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on September 1, 2023. Cheap Trick opened the show for Rod Stewart.

Thousands of fans gathered on site to enjoy a warm summer night at a peaceful venue while soaking up the last concert of the season.

Rod Stewart's performance was incredible, it reminded me of a Las Vegas show. For over 2 hours, Rod Stewart sang, danced, changed outfits, chatted with the crowd and had remarkable singers, dancers and musicians also join him on stage.
