You might want to jump on this if you want to live in the area because it looks like it's the only somewhat affordable home in Dutchess County, NY.

It's no surprise that it's very hard to purchase a home let alone a nice home in the Hudson Valley. I know many people who are still looking or have had to just settle on "a home" to just be able to stay in the area.

I came across a beautiful home and it does need a little bit of work, but it might be the first somewhat affordable home I've seen for sale in the Hudson Valley.

What beautiful home is for sale in Dutchess County?

It's also less than half a mile from the Village of Pawling, so it's a great spot for someone. The legal apartment has is almost 1,000 square feet and has additional bedrooms to make the total 7.

The home is located at 68 W Main Steer in Pawling and the current listing price is......$350,000. We've all seen the housing prices around here, that is not a lot for everything that comes with this house (I never thought I'd be saying that)

****Some side notes about the property: Cash buyers are preferred, strong renovations loans will be considered. The highest bid was due yesterday, but we'll have to see what happens nothing is final yet. Sometimes it doesn't always work out even with strong offers.
