I love this time of year! We’re now experiencing sunnier days in the Hudson Valley with warmer temps. As things warm up, we’ve been able to spend more time outdoors doing the things that we love.

From walks to gardening, enjoying outdoor dining and attending venues, it’s a mood boost that we deserve.

I always make a list of Hudson Valley fairs and festivals to attend each year. There’s nothing quite like fresh squeezed lemonade along with a funnel cake at events that take place once a year.

Some fairs and festivals also feel nostalgic if they were events that we attended as children. They’re always a good reminder to play, have fun and enjoy the little things in life.

4 Day Carnival With Rides, Food And More Coming To Hudson Valley

A carnival is coming to the Hudson Valley this summer. If you’re also looking forward to more events like this then you’ll love the idea of a festival and carnival at the same place.

America The Beautiful Festival will take place in Port Jervis, NY. The first day of this festival will begin on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 11am until 9pm. On Sunday, June 15, 2025, guests can also attend this event from 10am until 7pm.

America The Beautiful Festival is free, guests may have to pay for parking. This festival is celebrating the Army’s 250th birthday and will honor military members along with veterans and more.

A carnival will also take place on the same grounds of the America The Beautiful Festival.

Here's How You Can Attend This Carnival In Orange County, NY

Fresh squeezed lemonade, fried dough and oreos, cotton candy and ice cream are some reasons why we love attending carnivals. The excitement of winning prizes by playing games and going on rides are some things I look forward to at Hudson Valley carnivals.

There will be a 4 day carnival at America The Beautiful Festival in June. On June 12, 2025- June 13, 2025, guests can attend this carnival from 3-pm. The hours for Saturday, June 14, 2025 will include 11am until 9pm.

Guests can attend the carnival at America The Beautiful Festival on Sunday, June 15, 2025 from 10am-7pm.

What Other Festivals Will Take Place In The Hudson Valley This Summer?

Additional carnivals in the Hudson Valley include the Memorial Weekend Carnival in Washingtonville, NY.

This Orange County, NY carnival will take place at L Vern Allen park Ahern Blvd in Washingtonville, NY which is hosted by The Washingtonville Knights of Columbus. There will be rides, games, live music, entertainment and more.

From Thursday, May 22, 2025 to Sunday, May 25, 2025, guests can attend this carnival. Additional information can be found on Washingtonville Knights of Columbus's Facebook.

Eat Your Way Through The Hudson Valley With The Best Ice Cream

I have always enjoyed stopping by my favorite local ice cream shops and choosing a new flavor. Whether it's a hot fudge sundae, chocolate peanut butter ice cream in a cone, or an ice cream sandwich, count me in.

The Hudson Valley has strange ice cream flavors. From lemon poppyseed to thai iced tea and barn boots, there aren't any boring flavors in our area.

A 'Premiere' Hudson Valley treat shop was expanding their space during the winter months to prepare for a busy summer season.

Thankfully, we have a large selection of local ice cream shops to visit in the Hudson Valley.
