So you are looking to get some take-out or carry-out? Someone told you that you can also order alcohol with your order? Is this real? According to the New York State Liquor Authority website, you can order alcohol with your food order now through April 15, 2020.

The guidelines state that you have to order food with your alcohol, the items must normally be available on the restaurants menu, and they have to be in a closed container.

If you are getting the item delivered, the business is required to have a copy of their liquor license in the delivery vehicle. The business also cannot deliver your items outside of their normal operating hours.

If you are looking to get beer delivered from your favorite brewery, good news, New York breweries are also able to deliver beer to you, without having to bring you any food.

Have you added beer, wine or alcohol to your recent take-out orders? Let us know.
