Within New York state, there are alot of locally owned businesses that residents enjoy supporting but what happens when we go to the grocery store? This can still be a place where we can purchase what works for us and also support jobs and companies out of New York State.
Some of our favorite products that we buy from grocery stores may be made in New York State. Locally owned grocery stores such as Adams Fairacre Farms specializes in having items within New York state for sale for their customers. I also enjoy visiting Adams since they allow their customers to sample certain products from the area.
It wasn't until recently that I started looking at the back of each container to see where products were made.
A national dairy company, Borden Dairy got their start within the Hudson Valley. After doing research, I found out about other popular companies that we see in the grocery stores and how they’re tied to New York State.
