Join us for a food drive on Tuesday October 13th.

It's time once again for all of us come come together and do what we can to help feed as many vets here in the Hudson Valley as we possibly can.

Back in September, we here at the Wolf joined up with the folks over at the Hudson Valley Veterans Alliance (HVVA), Vet 2 Vet and MHA of Dutchess County for the first big Chow Hauling 2020 event to collect non-perishable food items for local vets in need.

With your help they were able to feed 9 veterans that they had on a list with your donations. After setting up those 9 vets, the rest of the donated food was sent over to Castle Point in Wappingers Falls, and to another food pantry dedicated to veterans in low income housing.

Because of your generosity, we've been asked to try and help out once again and couldn't say no!!!

This time around we're going to be collecting donations at the ACME Markets on Route 82 in Hopewell Junction on Tuesday October 13th from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.

If you can find it in your heart, and budget to make a monetary or non-perishable food donation, it would go a long way to help feed some of the men and women that have served our great country.

I truly feel that any person that has served our country shouldn't ever have to go hungry, and that's why food drives like this are so important.

So if you have to do any food shopping this weekend, PLEASE pick up a few extra items and drop them off to us on Tuesday.

Thank you in advance and thanks to ACME Markets and the folks at Hunter Insurance for their support.
