Now, this sounds like summer fun! We can actually spend the night in a covered wagon in the Hudson Valley. I think it would be so fun to do this with friends and family this season.

We Can Go Camping And Glamping This Summer In The Hudson Valley

There are plenty of places to experience camping and glamping in and around the Hudson Valley. Personally, I went glamping at Bethel Woods and it was such an incredible experience!

I saw that a campsite in Sullivan County has unique camping and glamping options as well. The Roscoe Campsite Park reopened for the season in May 2026.

On site, we can go tubing and kayaking along with gem mining. I love being outdoors and active so this place sounds like a nature lovers ideal trip!

As for camping, we can spend the night in their RV's, tents, cabins, houses and even covered wagons.

How Can We Spend The Night In A Covered Wagon In The Hudson Valley This Summer?

It's not everyday that we discover a new way to go to camping or glamping. Thankfully, we can now enjoy a overnight stay in a covered wagon at Roscoe Campsite Park in Roscoe.

The Catskill Conestoga Wagon Outposts are located along the banks of the Beaverkill River. One wagon typically allows four people to sleep in it and they are pet friendly as well! I like that there is also a kitchenette and bathhouse too.

Renting one of these wagons a night could range from $99 to $159. This sounds like a lot of fun, and I wanted to share it with those who appreciate the natural beauty of the Hudson Valley and are always looking for something new to try!

For more information, be sure to visit the Roscoe Campsite Park's website and social media platforms.

What Else Can We Do In The Roscoe, NY Area?

The next time that we are in the Roscoe area, be sure to check out the Roscoe Diner! I've been there a bunch of times and it's a staple within the community. Also, we can stop by Roscoe Beer Company.

Nature enthusiasts can explore Cooks Falls Bridge and Delaware County Scenic Resource for some more beautiful views!

Have fun exploring this summer in nature and seeing all that the Hudson Valley has to offer!

Camping Resorts in the Hudson Valley

The Hudson Valley is a camping destination for so many people, including those of us who live locally. It is a great way to have a summer vacation every weekend close to home. Many places offer a seasonal rate for you to save money on your stay. You pull the trailer in for the summer and park it for the season, usually late April to the end of October. And now you can camp at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.
