The City of Kingston made an announcement, via press release, that they will be continuing with special parking restrictions in areas that you already love to dine in.

The most recent parking restrictions will be taking place in the area of Fair Street.

Here is the specifics on the 'no parking area:'

From 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 1st, 2020, through 10:00 p.m. on Friday, October, 30th, 2020, there will be no parking in front of 313 Fair St. at the three spots associated with meters #304 and #305.

The reason behind the restrictions? Well, this probably won't surprise you, but the parking regulations are because of Covid. The City of Kingston has said that they are wanting to encourage visitors to the businesses and restaurants and with that they have instituted an Outdoor Dining season, which they hope will encourage traffic throughout the City.

Where do you find yourself wanting to eat out now? Do you have a favorite restaurant that you are returning to now that the Covid restrictions are starting to be a little less than the last few weeks? Do you prefer to get your food delivered from your favorite place or would you like to pick it up yourself?

How far will you travel to get food or dine out? 20 minutes? 45 minutes? An hour? Feel free to share with us! Cheers and enjoy your meal.
