One casting company is casting a very specific role in the Ulster County area.

As the weather starts to warm up, we've begun to see more and more production companies wander into the Hudson Valley and resume filming television shows and movies.

If you live in the Dutchess County area, then you've probably seen a few "new" locations pop up in town. Hyde Parks Roller Magic turned into Skidamarink Rollerway and Cocoa's Italian Restaurant turned into a "knock off Chuck E. Cheese" called Rose E. Ricotta.

Both locations weren't actual businesses, but shooting locations for HBO Max's Pretty Little Liars reboot.

Earlier this year, Law & Order SVU was spotted filming in and around the Nyack area as well.

Hudson Valley Casting Call: Cheerleader Needed

With productions filming all over the area comes casting calls. They make for a perfect opportunity for those looking to get into acting to get some experiences and a great way for actors to beef up their resumes.

Hudson Valley Casting has announced that they are "urgently casting" a Blonde Cheerleader (Female Identifying). The actor must be 18 years old or older to play 18 and MUST live within an hour of Kingston, New York. Said actor must also be "able to act well (on camera) and scream."
