What Are These Unique Cat Statues In The Hudson Valley?

These unique cat statues are on display in the Hudson Valley. I’ve been to this town before and took pictures of and with these beautiful pieces of art. It was fun to walk up and down this main street, learn about these statues and the artists who created them.

Cat’n Around Catskill is made possible by The Heart of Catskill Association. They take pride in bringing projects and music to the community.

The Heart of Catskill Association hopes to create education along with showing appreciation for the local artists within the Hudson Valley area. Overall, they want to enrich the lives of others through art, music and more.  

Cat’n Around Catskill is now on display within Catskill, NY for the 2025 season.

What Are The Names Of These Cats In The Hudson Valley?

This year, visitors can stroll along Catskill’s main street to see these statues including “Cat Van Winkle”, “NY Birds”, “Catsgilla” and more.

“Cat Van Winkle” was created by artist Don Boutin and is number 28. This statue can be found outside of 386 Main Street.

“NY Birds” was created by artist Autumn Doney and is number 46. This statue can be found outside of 302 Main Street.

“Catsgilla” was created by artist Gianna Scalera and is number 20. This statue can be found outside of 411 Main Street.

How Can You Own A Piece Of Cat'n Around Catskill Statues?

The Heart of Catskill Association will host the Cat’s Meow Auction. This will take place on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 12pm with the live auction from 1pm-5pm. Guests can join this event at The Historic Catskill Point in Catskill, NY.

2025 marks the 19th year of Cat'n Around Catskill!

This would be such a fun addition to a cat lovers home, I love the idea of this.
