New Bakery Opens In Former Cake Box Location In Ulster County, NY

The Cake Box was a staple within the Kingston, NY area.

This bakery served their loyal customers for many years before closing in 2024. The owner of The Cake Box retired after nearly 60 years. Although the community was happy for the owners retirement, Ulster County, NY residents were curious as to what would take over this location.

Thankfully, another bakery has opened in the former Cake Box location within Kingston, NY.

Pinkerton's Bakery has officially opened in the former Cake Box location in Kingston, NY. Being previous bakery owners, they have a following on social media highlighting their unique options.

Their former bakery, Pie Society HQ is also mentioned on Pinkerton's Bakery Instagram account. Before opening in their historic Hudson Valley space, Pinkerton's bakery made renovations. For months, they were able to offer pick up options to guests such as orders for Thanksgiving goodies.

Foodies can not only place a pick up order from this bakery in the former Cake Box location but they can now visit their cafe space. Pinkerton's Bakery has opened their relaxing cafe space to the community.

Their hours include Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm, Saturday and Sunday from 8:30am-2:00pm and Monday from 7:30am-4:00pm.
