Lion Cubs To Debut At Animal Adventure Park

In April, Jordan Patch and Animal Adventure Park announced that when they officially open for the season on April 12th that there would be three new members. On March 23rd, three female baby lions were born by their African lioness mom, Bisa.

Animal Adventure hoped to have them on display for everyone to see but they don't force any of their animals to exhibit. They are happy to announce that the moment has arrived and your chance to see the three lion cubs is approaching.

The sweet sisters, Kendi, Kesslee and Kimani (names chosen by the animal care team) have been checked by the veterinary crew and have been approved to greet the guests.

The lion cubs will make their debut at this weekend's Park after Dark event. Animal Adventure will announce the daily scheduled times that we all can expect to see the cubs.

The facility has decided to rotate the yard times between the other adults, and Bisa with her cubs to ensure the best situation for all of the lions.

Animal Adventure Park will close at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 6th and will reopen for this family friendly Park after Dark event from 5 to 8 p.m. As the sun begins to go down, the park "comes alive"

A portion of the proceeds from this event go to support rhino conservation. Animal Adventure Park is located at 85 Martin Hill Road in Harpursville.
