
The World’s Largest Marble Is Here in New York
There's a new exhibit coming to an Upstate New York museum, and it's centered around a record-breaking piece of glass that is nothing like you've ever seen.
There are plenty of unique world records in New York State, and from the world's largest lawn gnome to the biggest kaleidoscope (see all the best New York records HERE), they all have a place in the history books. That includes the latest special delivery to the Strong National Museum of Play.

As its name states, the Strong National Museum of Play is an institution dedicated to both the history and action of play. With permanent exhibits on nearly every activity (like the Raceway Arcade, Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden and Hasbro Board Game Place), the museum is also always evolving with temporary experiences.

The World's Largest Marble Is in Upstate New York
One upcoming exhibit, the Marble Speedway, will include a very special centerpiece that has already been delivered with care to the Strong Museum from at the Corning Museum of Glass: the largest toy marble on the planet (below).

The marble, which weighs roughly 50 pounds and looks to be the size of a bowling ball, had its delivery documented to help publicize the upcoming exhibit, which is scheduled to open in the fall. Here's how to visit:
