What ‘Preppers’ Say Everyone Should Have on Hand During Covid Isolation
Ok, so you have been limiting your trips to the grocery and you are trying to stay at home without going out. Basically, everyone has become a 'Prepper.' What is a Prepper? It is someone who thinks that the end of days is coming or someone who thinks that at any given time you are going to need to be without electricity,
Here are a few things that 'Preppers' say everyone should have at their home, regardless of the time of the year or the situation:
- One gallon of water, per person, per day
- A long term water reserve and storage for additional water
- A three-day supply of food for each person, with an emphasis on food that needs little to no heat to prepare. The additional suggestion is that the food is not very salty or spicy as this would require you to drink more water.
- Medical gloves, masks as well as first aid equipment
- Powdered electrolytes
- Solar chargers
- Batteries
- Duck tape
- Firestarters
What do you think should be on the list that isn't? What are your suggestions? Let us know.
