Vermont Hotel Named Best In The World

The best hotel in the world is only a few hours away from the Albany area.

You would think the best hotel in the world would not be easily accessible from Upstate New York, But according to Forbes Travel Guide, that hotel is pretty much right in our backyard!

The beautiful Twin Farms in Barnard, Vermont (Located near Killington) was just named the Best Hotel In the World by the guide. This hotel won the award based on scores from 'anonymous inspectors' who gave very high scores to the 20 room hotel while staying there. Here's how Forbes describes the resort:

"With 20 accommodations scattered among 300 acres, the adults-only property feels like your own sprawling escape. Every individually decorated room comes with a fireplace and views of the bucolic surroundings from the bathroom."

As glowing as that description is, nothing in words can do justice for this stunning hotel. You can see some amazing photos of the resort and the accommodations on their website. But those beautiful accommodations and stunning views come with a pretty steep price tag: nightly rates for these rooms are in the thousands. I guess you would not expect it to be any different to stay at the best hotel in the world!
