Tomorrow, March 9th, at 7 p.m. at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel, the New York State Bridge Authority (NYSBA) will hold a public hearing regarding proposed toll increases on its five bridges, including the Mid-Hudson and Kingston-Rhinecliff bridges. Such toll increases will become the norm if Governor Cuomo's proposed consolidation between the New York State Thruway Authority and the NYSBA takes place.

Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro has strongly voiced his opinion against such a move, as it would raise tolls and redirect toll revenues from the important work of maintaining its five bridges that serve the Hudson Valley, including Dutchess County residents. Now it's time for your voice to be heard

You're urged to attend Monday's public hearing and let the Governor's administration know your thoughts about the proposed changes to the New York State Bridge Authority. If you cannot attend the public hearing, you're encouraged to send your written comments to the following address by 4 p.m. on March 16th:

Brian Bushek, CFO and Treasurer
Mid-Hudson Bridge Toll Plaza, Rt. 44/55
