This morning Brandi and I were talking about ways people are passing the time during COVID-19.

Something that has been coming up a lot is people been posting a lot of garden pictures.

It's a safe and soothing way for people to pass the time and we have been having some warmer temperatures here for sure.

I've always been a huge fan of fresh flowers, in fact roses are my favorite.

My Dad would grow them outside of our old house and I would love to look at them from my window.

Having more free time, I was thinking it would be a good idea to start a little garden of my own.

I'd like to have a mix of flowers and some vegetables as well. This is where I need your help, where do I get started?

I know I have to buy soil, but is there a better spot in the yard to start one? Are there certain plants that can't be grown near each other?

Drop a comment below if you have some tips I can use, I'd really appreciate it.

Stay safe.
