Fast food establishments continue to change and toy around with their menus. It's always been this way for many years. And since the beginning of COVID, with the changes to dine-in and takeout procedures, the menu renovations seem to come more frequently. Fast food giant Taco Bell has announced that an old fan favorite will soon return to menus everywhere, including their restaurants across the Hudson Valley. And this time, it appears they're here to stay for good.

ABC is reporting that the popular Mexican pizza will return to Taco Bells after a nearly two-year hiatus. The chain had initially pulled the pizza from all their menus back in November 2020. Sources say the Mexican pizza will return on May 19. Fans were quite angry when Taco Bell removed the items from their menus. In fact, their elimination even sparked an online petition to bring them back that got almost 200,000 signatures.

Taco Bell has added some other items to their menus in recent months, though not all are there to stay for good. Back in early January 2022, the chain introduced its limited-edition Crispy Chicken Wings. They also announced a little over a year ago that they were bringing back both their popular SpicyPotato Soft Tacos and the Fiesta Potatoes to their restaurants in the Hudson Valley, and the rest of the country. This comes after many customers complained about the potato tacos being removed from menus.

The Quesalupa also made its triumphant return. If you don't remember the Quesalupa, it's basically a quesadilla with a chalupa all stuffed together and combined into a double shell mess of a meal.
