When it comes to summer, I enjoy hearing all the sounds, seeing all of the sights and smelling the true scents of the season.

The birds chirping on a beautiful, summer day are one of the best ways to start the day off. The noises from cicadas, crickets and the nature night choir add to some of the best sounds.

The bright green, vibrant trees in the Hudson Valley are so abundant during the summer months. The green grass and blue skies look like something out of a calendar or magazine.

Lastly, there are many smells that take us back to nostalgic summers as a kid.
