I enjoy visiting Hudson Valley owned businesses. There tends to be a sense of community with local eateries among the owners and other foodies. These places can become a staple within our lives of a place where we can visit often.

A Sullivan County, NY restaurant received a great achievement and it’s somewhere that I’ve visited before! Locals visit this area along with visitors, especially those who are on their way up to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, NY.

In August 2025, America's Best Restaurants posted a video on their social media. They included this Sullivan County, NY restaurant in their video.

They included that they visited Colosseo Family Restaurant & Pizzeria in Monticello, NY. In this video, the host tries their penne a la vodka dish.

America’s Best Restaurants included that Colosseo Family Restaurant & Pizzeria is known for their Italian cuisine in a family friendly setting. Their menu options include pasta, pizza, salad and more.

I visited Colosseo Family Restaurant & Pizzeria and had their salad along with a spinach and cheese roll. I really enjoyed their sauce and I know, good Italian sauces!
