Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center to Host the World Children’s Day Fundraiser Festival
World Children’s Day is on November 20th. This day is a reminder to ask the world, what can we do to help make this a better place children of the future? We can stand together to promote children's rights and well being throughout the world. World Children’s Day also highlights children nationwide who have made a difference and continue to do so.
The World Children's Day Fundraiser Festival will take place at the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center on Saturday November 21, 2020 from 11 am to 5 pm. A $10 donation is kindly asked at the door.
There will be the option to join in on raffles, enjoy live music and grab a bite to eat during this event.
Children 11 and under can get in for free and there will be a written essay contest along with an artistic contest to participate in. There will be two winners from each group. For the artistic contest, future artists can paint, draw or even build their masterpiece. The deadline for this contest is on November 16th. Aspiring writers can quality for the written essay part of the contest by coming up with how children can change and improve distress across the world. This showpiece can be up to 600 words of choice with the deadline on November 17th.
