Santa Set to Make an Early Stop in Highland, NY in November
Just like the song says...Santa Claus is coming to town! Whether you started celebrating the holiday season as soon as the calendar flipped to November or you're waiting for the end of the month, it's never too early to put a good word in with the big guy.
Santa himself will be making an early pit stop in the Hudson Valley to officially kick off the holiday season.
The man in red will be landing at The Walkway Over The Hudson Ulster County Welcome Center on the Highland side on Sunday, November 27th. While he's in town Santa will available for photo opportunities with the whole family even the family dog can take a pic with Santa.
Anna, Elsa, and Olaf from Disney's Frozen will also be making appearances.
The Walkway adds:
This event is free to attend and no RSVP is required. Professional digital photos with Santa and the Frozen characters will be available for purchase for a suggested donation of $10, or visitors may take their own photos.
You can't kick off the holiday season without Santa and music! The Walkway has a "group of classic yuletide carolers" on the lineup to perform and bring the holiday cheer. And no Christmas kickoff is complete without hot cocoa and cookies (Santa's favorite!) so Lemon Love will be bringing treats for all to enjoy.
Santa is scheduled to stop in Highland from 11 am until 3 pm on the Ulster County side of the Walkway Over the Hudson. Stay up to date with details about Santa's trip by following the even on The Walkway's Facebook page.
