Calling all shoppers, there's a new business coming to town. This chain store has options for the entire family and it also caters to the country lifestyle as well.

Hudson Valley residents will soon be able to head to the area to explore this new store. First, let's take a look into what opened this year.

What Opened In Orange County, NY In 2024?

In Orange County, NY a brand new restaurant opened which has outstanding reviews.

El Pollo Más Rico had their grand opening in November 2024 in Walden, NY. El Pollo Más Rico's menu ranges from options such as salads, tacos, sandwiches, pastas and more. They also offer a kids and dessert menu.

Their outstanding reviews came from guests who tried this new eatery and enjoyed it.

A few months ago, locals were waiting for a new business to open in an empty space in a popular shopping mall. Toys "R" Us was located in Dunning Farm Plaza in Middletown, NY. As of June 8, 2024, Sierra opened in the former location of Toys "R" Us in the Hudson Valley.

Eager shoppers waited in line to receive their free gifts from Sierra during their grand opening event. Today, guests can visit this business to purchase a wide variety of merchandise at discounted prices, according to Sierra.

Sierra also shared what guests can expect from their merchandise including,

"top brands for an active and outdoor lifestyle, with a vast selection of products for men, women, children & pets at amazing savings. "

A new business will open in the Dunning Farm Plaza in Middletown, NY. This location was once a Spirit Halloween and Bassett Furniture.

Nearby stores in the plaza include Michael's, PetSmart, Ollie's, HomeGoods and more. 

As of September 16, 2024, Royal Properties Inc. announced that Boot Barn will open in the Dunning Farms Shopping Center in Middletown, NY. They included that this business has leased an area with over 15,000 SF and signed a 10 year lease. This is exciting news!

What Can Guests Get From Boot Barn Locations?

Personally, I've never been to a Boot Barn before but looking forward to visiting one for the visit time in our area.

Online, Boot Barn sells men and womens boots, clothing and accessories. They also have kids' clothing and accessories too. Boot Barn's western wear theme highlights their country line for men and women. They have decor and holiday gifts as well.
