This is the time of the year when people love to give back to their neighbors. It might be hard to know what someone is going through. Some kids may wake up Christmas morning to see no presents left under the tree. It is a sad reality that many families may have to experience this year. Sheriff Kirk Imperati and the rest of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office is looking to change that. Here is a great opportunity to help some deserving kids in the community.

If you would like to spread some holiday cheer and help local children get some new toys there is still some time left but don't wait. According to their Facebook page, toys can be dropped off any time of the day between now until December 22nd.

You can drop off donations at the main lobby of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center located at 108 Parker Ave in the City of Poughkeepsie.

The Dutchess County Sheriff's Department shared their amazing progress from the toy drive on their Facebook page.

The Youth Academy recently held a toy drive at the Walmart location in Fishkill and Imperial Castle Toy Shop in Pawling. The toys they collected also were donated Sheriff Kirk Imperati's 2023 Holiday Toy Drive.
