Hudson Valley Nurses Honored Following Nurses Week 2026

Throughout Nurses Week 2026, we had the privilege of recognizing some truly incredible nurses from across the Hudson Valley.

Thanks to our amazing listeners and our partners at Hudson Valley Hospice, 94.3 Lite FM invited the community to nominate nurses who go above and beyond every single day. We received so many heartfelt stories honoring compassionate caregivers, dedicated healthcare professionals, and the people who make a difference in the lives of patients and families throughout our community.

From hospitals and doctors’ offices, to schools, care facilities, and home healthcare settings, these nurses were described as selfless, hardworking, comforting, inspiring, and endlessly devoted to helping others. Many of the nominations shared stories of nurses who provided care during life’s most difficult moments, offered kindness when it was needed most, and consistently made patients feel seen, heard, and cared for.

While we were only able to select one winner at random to win our grand prize package, we want to make it clear that every single nurse nominated deserves recognition and appreciation for the work they do every day!
