Where Is Holiday Mountain Located In The Catskills?
Holiday Mountain is located in Monticello, NY. IIt’s known for being a popular ski resort that shows off the beauty of the Catskills. I love the historical background related to Holiday Mountain since it dates back to the 1960’s.
It’s also a place where local families enjoy visiting as it also offers snowboarding, lessons and more. It’s that time of year for us to bundle up, grab our friends and family and enjoy the snow!

Holiday Mountain shared an exciting post on social media about a fun amenity! They included that we can visit their destination for night skiing under the lights! This is available on Fridays and Saturdays until 9pm.
We can soak up the winter season by experiencing their “Friday Night Lights”. These races include two runs along with a beer or soda after in their tavern.
There’s no time for us to experience any winter blues in the Hudson Valley because there’s always something to do!
What Else Can We Experience At Holiday Mountain In The Catskills?
Holiday Mountain has highlighted what we can look forward to with the start of a brand new year! For their 2026 into the 2027 season, visitors can enjoy their new snowmaking system along with their learning center and more. Holiday Mountain explained,
“This next expansion for NEXT SEASON is going to be epic as we rebuild & reopen the "north pod" of long abandoned trails with another chairlift!”
In the comments section of this Facebook post, social media users were excited to share their feedback. Some of these responses included,
